1. Project Deposits
All initial deposits made to secure construction, renovation, or design services are generally non-refundable. These deposits cover project planning, scheduling, consultation, and administrative costs incurred before work begins.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- If the project has not yet commenced and a cancellation request is submitted in writing within an agreed timeframe.
- If JAPLEX CONSTRUCTION is unable to proceed with the project due to unforeseen circumstances from our side.
- If there is a mutual agreement between both parties to terminate the contract before significant work has been completed.
Any approved refunds will be processed after deducting costs already incurred, including design work, materials purchased, or labor allocated.
3. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are strictly non-refundable once initiated or completed:
- Architectural design and planning
- Custom kitchen cabinets, closets, and countertops
- Plumbing and electrical work
- Tiling and installed materials
- Any custom-built or made-to-order items
4. Project Changes and Adjustments
If you request modifications during the project, additional charges may apply. Refunds will not be issued for approved changes once materials are ordered or work has begun.
5. Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Depending on the stage of the project, partial refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of JAPLEX CONSTRUCTION.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14–30 business days using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute regarding refunds, both parties agree to first seek resolution through direct communication. If necessary, disputes will be handled in accordance with the applicable laws of the Cayman Islands.
